Grand Passion Pianos Sponsors "We Have One World" Charity Concert with Pleyel Grand Piano for Save The Children

At Grand Passion Pianos, we’ve always believed in the power of music to inspire change. This year, we had the privilege of sponsoring the We Have One World Charity Concert, an annual event raising vital funds for Save The Children. As part of our sponsorship, we provided one of our most celebrated instruments for the performances — the Pleyel OP190 grand piano, renowned for its rich tonal quality and timeless elegance, and striking design.

The We Have One World charity concert is now in its fourth year. It provides a platform for outstanding young musicians to deliver a variety of performances, from classical to modern pieces. This year, the charity concert was held at the beautiful Dartmouth House in Mayfair. The event brought together a supportive audience who shared in the joy of live music while contributing to an important cause. The Pleyel OP190 grand piano complemented the Georgian room and provided the perfect accompaniment to the performers’ talents.

The Pleyel OP190 grand piano is a mid-sized grand known for its balance of expressiveness and power, making it ideal for such an occasion. As the event unfolded, it was a privilege to hear how the instrument enhanced the music, from delicate solo moments to bold, ensemble-driven crescendos. Seeing it at the heart of such a meaningful event was a proud moment for us.

The concert provided an opportunity to highlight the work of Save The Children. Through the generosity of those in attendance, vital funds were raised to support programs that improve the lives of children worldwide. As sponsors, we’re pleased to have contributed to the success of this event and to have partnered with an organisation that is undertaking such vital work. Other sponsors of the event included Bulgari, Florian Leonhard Fine Violins and Aspinal of London.

In addition to providing the grand piano for the concert, Pleyel also donated a functional art work – the Pleyel “Sculpturaudio” - which is a speaker housed within a cubist-inspired guitar sculpture. This was included in a silent auction which took place alongside the concert. The unique piece (a limited edition), which leverages Pleyel’s acoustic knowledge to integrate a transducer powered speaker into the artwork, attracted considerable interest and was amongst the highest grossing items in the auction.
